Description
Ayham from Grade 11 has developed an Android app. The application, CamCurrency,
utilizes the user's phone camera in order to scan the prices displayed in a shop
located in a country foreign to the user. Then, the prices are converted to the
user's native currency. In his presentation, Ayham demonstrated the usage of his
application. He has also presented the difficulties he overcame when developing
his application, discussing the tools he used and limitations of his software.
Amongst other things, he discussed broader topics such as the common notion for
students to claim programming as refurbishing online code. Teachers and
students were appreciative of his work, wishing him good luck towards his
endeavor of publishing his app on the Google Play Store platform.
